Sebit partners with ASU to advance Adaptive Curriculum

Sebit, LLC, a Turkish company, is partnering with ASU’s Technology Based Learning and Research (TBLR), an educational technology research center to offer educators Adaptive Curriculum – standards-based math and science instruction to prepare students for success in the 21st century. Sebit recently completed pilot programs at 15 schools and districts in Arizona, and TBLR conducted a research study in conjunction with the pilots to measure Adaptive Curriculum’s impact on student achievement.

Adaptive Curriculum receives Distinguished Achievement Award

The Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) has honored Adaptive Curriculum with a 2008 Distinguished Achievement Award, in the Mathematics Instruction Website category for grades 6-8. Developed by Sebit, LLC, Adaptive Curriculum offers an online library of Math and Science Activity Objects. By using realistic, engaging visuals and hands-on activities, Adaptive Curriculum helps students develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills they need to improve their academic performance in math and science.

All 16 of the winning groups will be provided with seed funding for their businesses, ranging from $2,000 to $20,000. All winners are provided with an office within the ASU space at SkySong.
