Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Arizona to Host Speed Mentoring Event

Event is Part of Global Entrepreneurship Week

(SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA — November 5, 2008) Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) of Arizona will support The Kauffman Foundation’s Global Entrepreneurship Week with a free speed mentoring event open to student entrepreneurs and young business owners on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at The Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale.

EO members will be on hand to share their business expertise with the Valley’s young entrepreneurs as well as college and high school students who register for the event. Participants may register to attend one of two sessions: the 8:00 am to 10:00 am session or the 10:00 am to 12:00 noon session.

During the sessions, participants will rotate through a series of brief, face-to-face meetings with EO members who will share their business experience, answer questions and guide young entrepreneurs toward achieving their business goals and aspirations. It’s a “rapid-fire” learning experience designed to deliver high value in a very short time.

“Speed mentoring works,” said EO Arizona mentorship chair, Kathy Brockman. “Participants can ask direct questions and expect solid direct answers from our experienced membership. Plus, it’s an ideal way for young entrepreneurs to build their networks, a key to success. We’re excited about the possibilities and about doing our part to help the next generation of business leaders.”

The deadline to register for this free event is Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. To register, contact Carolyn Benson at (623) 544-0105 or carolyn.yeo@cox.net.
