ASU SkySong hosts President of Ireland, SkySong’s first Head of State visit
Business leaders gather at the Scottsdale Innovation Center to meet President McAleese

Who: ASU President Michael Crow, City of Scottsdale and local business leaders gather for a VIP breakfast with Irish President Mary McAleese.
What: ASU SkySong will welcome an Irish delegation, including President McAleese, Dublin City University president Ferdinand von Prondzynski and Irish ambassador to the U.S., Michael Collins.
When: SkySong Scottsdale Innovation Center, 1475 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, 85257 (southeast corner of McDowell and Scottsdale Roads) Monday, December 15, 7:30 a.m. (motorcade will arrive at 7:45 a.m.)
Details: ASU SkySong opened in March 2008 and is becoming a global portal for technology businesses looking for entry into the U.S. Marketplace. Arizona State University shares a special partnership with Dublin City University and President McAleese will meet with ASU faculty to discuss future U.S. – Ireland partnerships.
Photo Opportunity: Irish president Mary McAleese will tour the SkySong facility, learn about collaborations between ASU and Irish ventures and speak during a VIP breakfast with over 50 attendees.
