ASU at SkySong officially opens March 27
Global visitors gather for celebration; major announcement will be made regarding new ASU programs and partnerships

What: Arizona State University and the City of Scottsdale celebrate their vision for a 21st century community that links technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and education at the opening ceremony of ASU at SkySong. ASU President Michael Crow will make major announcements regarding new global programs and partnerships, and the university will host a flag ceremony featuring flags of each country represented at SkySong
Where and When: First floor of SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, 1475 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, 85257 (southeast corner of McDowell and Scottsdale Roads) Thursday, March 27, 9am. There will be a media check-in table in the SkySong first floor lobby at 8:30am.
Details: ASU president Michael Crow will speak, along with Scottsdale Mayor Mary Manross, Sharon Harper from the Plaza Companies, and a member of the ASU Board of Regents. Following the 9 a.m. breakfast and flag ceremony, global visitors and participating companies will be available to answer questions and conduct media interviews.
Photo opportunity: More than 10 countries will be represented in the ASU at SkySong flag ceremony. ASU president Michael Crow will address the crowd of more than 200 regarding the recent progress at SkySong.
