Applied Learning Technologies Institute (alt^I) – alt^I is dedicated to the advancement of higher education through research, collaboration and action. The Institute brings together faculty, researchers, students and professionals, working together with engineers, designers, programmers and support staff, toward a common goal – ensuring the success of all learners.
Arizona Technology Enterprises (AzTE) – AzTE works with university inventors and industry to transform scientific progress into products and services. AzTE transfers technologies invented at ASU to the private sector by mining university research, prosecuting patents, negotiating licenses and marketing inventions.
ASU Technopolis – ASU Technopolis spurs innovation in Greater Phoenix by equipping technology, life science, and other innovative entrepreneurs with the skills and contacts they need to better succeed in the marketplace. ASU Technopolis delivers classroom-style survey courses, one-on-one coaching/mentoring, SBIR grant-writing seminars and networking events to a diverse group of entrepreneurs, innovators, faculty and students.
Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative – Edson harnesses the entrepreneurial energy, excitement and creativity found in ASU’s student body. It provides funding, office space and training for teams of students across the university to explore their innovative ideas for business products and services in partnership with faculty, researchers and successful entrepreneurs from both the academic and private sectors. The program will help students succeed in any enterprise, large or small, for-profit or not-for-profit, domestic or global.
Entrepreneurship at ASU – Entrepreneurship at ASU is a university-wide umbrella initiative for all of the entrepreneurship opportunities at ASU, both new and existing. Through this initiative, which is made possible in part by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, ASU aims to transform ASU’s culture into one that is entrepreneurial at its core and in every aspect of its research, teaching and service to the community.
InnovationSpace – InnovationSpace is a product development program in which faculty and students work on research and design projects with corporations to commercialize innovative product design ideas. Students design, develop and deliver products that are desirable, functional and profitable, as well as socially and environmentally responsible.
Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement (OVPGE) – OVPGE leads ASU in advancing globally by establishing and maintaining strong relationships; supporting globally-focused programs of study, research and student mobility; and creating international strategic partnerships with key institutions around the world.
Partnership for Research in Spatial Modeling (PRISM) – PRISM is the focal point at ASU for interdisciplinary research involving geometric modeling, visualization, computer graphics, visual analytics and rapid prototyping. PRISM’s interdisciplinary research partners include a wide variety of disciplines, such as physical anthropology, archeology, geological sciences, psychology and business.
Technology Based Learning and Research (TBLR) – TBLR focuses on research and large-scale delivery of educational materials as well as technology training and integration using computers and other information and communication technologies.
Technology Ventures Services Group (TVSG) – TVSG is a market-focused enterprise that leverages the intellectual capital of ASU students to offer technology transfer services. Students from across the university are recruited to work for TVSG, gaining first-hand knowledge of best practices in all aspects of technology commercialization and venturing, including patent investigation, business modeling, deal structuring and market assessment.
